Take only memories, leave only footprints

Camp Vallée du Tarn is a small green campsite on the banks of the beautiful Tarn, in the south of France.

It is a special place, which naturally has a quiet and friendly atmosphere.

We have 18 spacious pitches under the poplars and acacias on the site.

In the valley, fortunately, the nights cool down well, allowing you to enjoy a healthy night's sleep.

There are four lovely hot showers (one of which also has cold water) and four toilets with toilet paper, there is hand soap at the fountain and dispensers with washing-up liquid at the dishwashing sinks. We make sure everything is spotless.

From your pitch you always have a view of the beautiful Tarn.

Near reception is the place where people and animals can go in and out of the water to swim.

On "our" side, the water is immediately deep, inviting a graceful dip in the "tepid" water (we measured water temperatures of over 27 degrees). The sometimes slightly slippery descent to the water, makes wearing water shoes not an unnecessary luxury.

You can go off in one of the canoes or perhaps explore part of the Tarn with your own sup. In the recreation area, we have created a campfire place where you can enjoy the lovely summer evenings by a nice fire, but you can also tie your hammock somewhere between two trees and chill out. There is a ping-pong table and a badminton net for those who want to play some more sports and games. The terrain and the ever-flowing, deep water here make it unsuitable for children under 12.
We always refer young families to campsites nearby.

As long as there are enough guests, you can join/with us for dinner on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays (sign up in advance, as there is a max). We will make sure you lack nothing. On the other days, you can snack with us. Think of a cone of crispy chips or a well-filled 'planche' with cold meats and cheese or a drinks board with hot snacks.

Except on Mondays, our baker delivers crisp fresh croissants, chocolatines and baguettes every morning. You can order them the night before. A delicious cup of coffee and something to read from our bookcase completes it all. Of course we sell ice creams, chilled soft drinks, wine and beer; you won't lack anything.

It is fun to walk to Ambialet and cross the barrage. In summer, you'll find the tourist office and a tiny market on Wednesday mornings.

We also have two beautifully furnished Bell tents for rent, so you can travel with just your suitcase of clothes to come and glamp here..... Delightfully luxurious! Come and experience it!

From Trébas-le-bain, you can do a canoe trip at LOCA Tébas, which starts and ends next to the campsite. There is a special price for our guests. You can also hire electric bicycles and ride along beautiful marked routes.

The surrounding area is great for hiking and cycling. Download the Balade&Rando Tarn app or the Wikiloc app and discover the best routes in the area. By car, you can visit beautiful towns. Albi is the big recommendation, but also the caves of Roquefort,Brousse-le-Chatteau, Najac, Sidobre, Cordes-sur-Ciel and the hanging castle of Mazamet are well worth a visit. History, nature and entertainment go hand in hand here.

By the way, we also have all kinds of leaflets for discoveries in the area and don't hesitate to ask us, because we have a whole load of information in our heads too...
